The part one of Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is an introduction to the series and it’s character. This book illustrates how Greg can be naughty and sweet at the same time. The books brings in light how a stubborn and adamant child always finds a way to solve a problem and can go to any extent for his loved ones – to keep them happy.
I’m not a fan of reading. However, one fine day my mother bought this book and insisted me to read. Although I don’t like reading, I thought I’ll give it a try. The moment I started reading, I got engrossed into it. I got glued to the book. It was a win-win situation here. My mother and I were happy. Now, I have five more series of the book.
I would like to recommend this book to those who love comedy and also to those parents who want their children to become a fan of reading. The author has done a pretty good job in all aspects. The book is an interesting and adventurous read for children.
