I read the book Tit for Tat. It is about two animals, a crane and a fox.

Nandini the crane went to the river to catch fish to eat. But she didn’t catch any fish at all for a long time. Then the clever fox called Heera saw Nandini and said to come to his house for lunch. Nandini was so hungry and was exiited for the soup. But when the crane went to Heera’s house the fox played a trick on Nandini. The he put the food in a plate and Nandini can’t drink from a plate because she can’t bend her beak. Heera the fox laughed at her and drank her food also.

Nandini went home and another day, she told Heera to come for lunch. Then Heera went to Nandini’s house and Nandini tricked the fox. She gave the soup in a long jar. Nandini put her beak in the jar and drank the soup. But Heera could not reech the soup in the jar because his mouth was not long. He tried many times but he could not drink from the jar. Then Heera went away and Nandini drank his food also.

I liked when Nandini tricked the fox because the fox was mean to her.
