I read another Wings of Fire book. It is Book 2, the Lost Heir. In this book, Tsunami and her friends the dragonets of Destiny are jurneying under the water to the great Seawing Kingdom.

Tsunami was stolen as an egg from the Royal Hatchery and she is eager to meet her future subjects and see her mother Queen Coral. But Tsunami’s return to the home she never knew doesn’t go quite the way she had always imagined. Queen Coral welcomes her with open wings, but there is a mysterious assassin that has been killing off the Queen’s heirs for years. Tsunami may be the next target.

The dragonets came for protection but instead they get thrown into the dungeons. Tsunami got out first and then she freed her friends. What happened was she looked up and saw a fire. All the Skywings were attacking the summer palace. At that  time the dragonets escape safely, without getting caught.

Blister, the second daughter of Queen Oasis saw them escaping and took Webs’ tail and stabbed it with her venomous barb tail but he survived thanks to Tsunami.

After they escape, the dragonets go looking for Glory’s family which is in the rainforest where the Rainwing tribe lives.

I have many favorite parts in the Lost Heir. One was when the dragonets escaped. And also when they decided to go to the rainforest to find Glory’s family.

If I were in the story, I think I would have kept flying to the rainforest so I would be far away from Blister. Blister is the middle daughter of Queen Oasis and she would rather kill the prophecy dragonets to get the Sandwing throne. Who wants to be near someone like that?
