“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” is the third book in the series “Harry Potter” written by J.K Rowling. It is one of my favourite books in the series.

The book narrates the story of a young wizard named Harry who is ready to start his 3rd magical year at Hogwarts, the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, along with his best friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger.

After defeating the Dark Lord (Lord Voldemort) in his previous two years, Harry is still not safe from dark and dangerous people. This time, the infamous Sirius Black has escaped from the Prisons of Azkaban. It is believed Sirius Black killed 12 muggles and murdered Peter Pettigrew. And now he has escaped the prison, and the Ministry of Magic believes his attempts to kill Harry Potter.

Also, the school is not safe from the guards of Azkaban, Dementors surrounding the school grounds who can easily suck out the souls of human beings.

My Opinion about the book:

Well, I liked everything about this book except a few things that I disliked. The first thing was, I didn’t expect that Scabbers to be turned to Peter Pettigrew. It really surprised me and I couldn’t think how Scabbers could be Wormtail as he was in Ron’s family from years. The second thing was I didn’t want Remus Lupin to leave Hogwarts as the DADA teacher as I believe he was the best among all. But of course, JK Rowling must have done this because of a reason.

Despite that, I love this book a lot. If you are a fantasy, thriller or an action fan, I would gladly say this book is definitely for you.
