The Search for the Sunken Treasure

My book review is about The Search for the Sunken Treasure. It is book number twenty five in the Geronimo Stilton Series. It is a good book with lots of funny jokes. I like how the mice think cheese is better than gold!

The author of ‘The Search for the Sunken Treasure’ is Elisabetta Dami, but she writes as if it is Geronimo writing.

Geronimo’s aunt Sweetfur wanted to meet everyone in the mouse family. So she wrote to a letter to them using lavender coloured paper. The family came to  Geronimo’s office. Aunt Sweetfur told them she wanted to go to the Ratlapagos islands because her husband’s ship was lost there. She asked her family to go with her. Geronimo is nervous about going on a boat but he joins the others.

The mouse family find the sunken treasure but they can’t take it with them. Two other mice want to steal it from them. When the two were fighting, the diamonds and the gold fell back into the ocean. Trap is sad but that is when Geronimo finds very old cheese. When they returned, they took a different way so the two wicked mice don’t chase them. They passed an island. Thea saw a mouse on a hammock.  Aunt Sweetfur jumped into the water suddenly and swam to the island.  All of them jump into the water behind her. The story has a sweet ending because the mouse on the island is Uncle Sweetfur!

My favourite character is Trap. He is always teasing Geronimo and playing tricks on him. He made the spicy beans so spicy that Geronimo’s taste buds couldn’t taste anything after eating it. My mother can eat very spicy food.

I think you will enjoy the jokes in ‘The Search for the Sunken Treasure.’  I recommend you to try it.
