The Hidden Kingdom
I read a book called The Hidden Kingdom. It is book three of the Wings of Fire series.
In The Hidden Kingdom, the dragon named Glory just found her tribe in the rainforest. She is a Rainwing dragon. She doesn’t really feel like she is really at home with them because she is disappointed. The other Rainwings are not interested in the war that is going on.
Let me tell you a little bit about Glory. She is part of the Dragonet prophecy along with her friends Clay, Sunny, Starflight and Tsunami. The fifth dragon was actually supposed to be a Skywing dragon. But Glory is a Rainwing. Her friends are happy that they don’t have a Skywing but Glory still doesn’t think she belongs in the Prophecy
Since the Rainwings aren’t fighting in the war, the five dragonets think they might be able to hide safely inn the forest for a while. Some Rainwing dragons are disappearing and the Rainwing queen won’t rescue them. So Glory challenges Queen Magnificent for the throne of the Rainwings. Glory’s plan was that when she becomes the queen, she can lead the other Rainwings to to battle the Nightwings and rescue their fellow Rainwings back.
I like Glory a lot. She is sarcastic and I like to be sarcastic too. But really she is a kind and thoughtful dragon. Glory is also brave. She thinks about others and doesn’t ignore them if they are in trouble. You must read the The Hidden Kingdom to find out what happens in the story!
