Author: Roald Dahl Illustrator: Quentin Blake Book Review By: Paridhi Baheti Class: 3 |
Matilda is a story book whose author is Roald Dahl and he published Matilda book in 1988. This story is about a small nine year old girl who had extraordinary powers from which she always tried to teach a lesson to her family as they behaved very badly with her. I loved this book very much as it has suspense in it and I would also recommend it to my other friends.
The most interesting part for me was when they went into their Principal Miss Trunchbull’s house. I think that if the classmate of Matilda who was thrown out of the school would not be in the story it could be better. I loved the character Miss Honey and Matilda as they were polite and they always uttered truth and disliked the character Zinnia Wormwood and Miss Trunchbull as they were very selfish and rude. This book is in a very easy language and has a lot of new words to learn. I loved Matilda as she was a very bright and strong girl and she learned a lot of things in a very short period. She was a very strong and independent girl.
