Amazing Grace is an amazing book. This book shows kids that no matter who they are, they can be what they want to if they set their mind to it. I recommend this book to kids because it is an encouragement to pursue their dreams no matter what.
Many kids have dreams big or small, but sometimes they get discouraged because of many reasons like who they are and their friends might discourage them. Amazing Grace shows that whatever position you’re in, you can do what you want to do even if people discourage you. This book is an inspiration for kids who feel they can’t fulfill their dreams.
Grace wanted to play Peter Pan, while everyone else said she couldn’t because she was a girl and she was black! But that didn’t stop her from doing what she wanted to do. People would get underestimated by their gender which sometimes makes them give up, but Amazing Grace shows that isn’t true and you can be who you want to be even if you are a girl or boy. And it also shows there is no difference between a girl or a boy. Everyone’s the same no matter what.
