The Secret Seven

My book review is about The Secret Seven by Enid Blyton. It is a mystery and very good to read.

Seven children form a secret club. There are three girls, and the other four are boys. The head of the secret club is a boy called Peter. The children make an old shed into a clubhouse. When they want to meet they must wear a badge and say the password to come to the club. One day, Jack forgot his badge in the field where they were all playing with snow. When he went to look for it at night, he saw something strange happening at the old house.

Jack tells his friends about the mystery. They have a lot of questions. What are the strange men doing with the big horse? Who does it belong to? Don’t worry because the Secret Seven will solve the mystery.

It is exciting to have a secret club and passwords. The mystery is also good, but I didn’t like Jack too much. I think he should stand up for his sister, Susie. She is irritating but I think it is because she is feeling left out. If my brother tells me to stay away, I will also feel very hurt. I feel Barbara is too sweet and too nice. I think she is irritating in a different way.

But all the other things in the book are good. It is hard to put it down. If you like a good detective book, you will like The Secret Seven by Enid Blyton.
