It is the monsoon season, and Mangai’s school is closed. She steps out into the garden before anyone notices. The racing clouds, the swaying coconut leaves, and the pouring rain cast a spell on the little girl as she welcomes the monsoon. What is a little girl to do but wonder at the world around her?
